11th Scientific-Professional Symposium ‘Health for All’
Celebration of the 11th Scientific-Professional Symposium ‘Health for All’, in Rijeka City Hall, Rijeka, Croatia.
The aim of this symposium was to bring together experts who could discuss the importance of integrated health measures in the fight against cardio-reno-metabolic diseases and the importance of education aimed at increasing the health literacy of citizens
Professor Vanja Vasiljev will present the HORUS project in this symposium, organised by the University of Rijeka – Faculty of Medicine (MEDRI) and the Croatian Hypertension League together with the Croatian Society of Hypertension, the Croatian Society of Atherosclerosis, the Croatian Society of Endocrinology, the Croatian Obesity Society and the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Public Health Teaching Institute.
The organizing committee consists of: Lovorka Bilajac, Marko Gašparić, Katarina Grgurić, Bojan Jelaković, Denis Juraga, Željko Linšak, Jadran Mandekić, Mihaela Marinović Glavić, Karla Mušković, Ivan Pećin, Tomislav Rukavina, Zlatko Trobonjača and Vanja Vasiljev.
During the event, lectures of MEDRI team members were dedicated to the HORUS project:
- Vanja Vasiljev: “Health outcomes in high urban environments (HORUS)” – urban health.
- Lovorka Bilajac: Barometer of the health of Rijeka inhabitants: what habits influence our health?
- Tomislav Rukavina: Indicators of chronic non-infectious diseases of residents of the city of Rijeka.
- Denis Juraga: Urban determinants of health in the city of Rijeka: example of HORUS project.
