From October 2-4, 2024 in Zadar, Croatia, the 29th fall meeting of the Croatian Healthy Cities Network was held.
Assoc. Ph.D. Darko Roviš, prof. social ped., member of the MEDRI research team, was one of the invited speakers at the event.
The main theme of this year’s meeting was “Health and social welfare – availability of health care” and the workshop Coordination of health care in the community.
As every year, the meeting brings together coordinators and members of the Healthy Cities Network.
In addition to regular reports on the activities implemented during the past year and plans for the coming year, models of good practices will be presented.
The Croatian Healthy Cities Network is an association of Croatian cities and counties grouped around the idea of health promotion. The network consists of cities and counties that, in their municipal councils or municipal assemblies, decided to launch the “Healthy City/Healthy County” project and join the Croatian network of healthy cities.
Darko presented the HORUS project and delivered the lecture and presentation under the title: One size fits all? Differences between neighborhoods in health needs in the city of Rijeka.
