HORUS Factsheet 1: EXPLORING HOW OUR URBAN ENVIRONMENT SHAPES OUR WELLBEING

We are pleased to share our first HORUS factsheet presenting the project’s approach to understanding how urban environments influence health behaviours and outcomes, particularly among vulnerable populations.

The document outlines the conceptual framework behind HORUS and explains how participatory research and spatial analysis can help identify barriers and opportunities for healthier living in urban settings. It highlights how lived experiences, local knowledge and geographic tools can be combined to generate actionable insights for more equitable and health-supportive cities.

This guideline is designed for researchers, practitioners, policymakers and stakeholders interested in urban health, prevention of non-communicable diseases, and evidence-based local interventions.
