Join Our Webinar on Digital Tools for Healthier Cities

May 8th, 11:00 AM

At HORUS, we are committed to creating healthier urban environments through evidence-based strategies. To showcase how we integrate digital innovation into our work, we are hosting a webinar on May 8th at 11:00 AM (CET), where we will present two key digital tools developed during the project: Wakamola and the Healthy Cities Generator.

This webinar, organized by Polibienestar at the Universitat de València (UVEG), is open to anyone interested in learning more about how digital solutions can improve urban health. Whether you’re an urban planner, a public health professional, or simply curious about how cities can foster well-being, this session will provide valuable insights.

What Will We Cover?

🔹 The Healthy Cities Generator (HCG) – Developed by Bax Innovation Consulting SL, this tool helps urban planners and policymakers integrate health considerations into urban planning. HCG assesses the characteristics of an area and visualizes their impact on 30 health indicators related to physical, mental, and environmental well-being. By using HCG, stakeholders can identify opportunities for small but impactful changes that improve public health.

🔹 Wakamola – Created by Universitat Politècnica de València, this interactive chatbot analyzes individual and social factors related to overweight and obesity. Through engaging conversations in messaging apps like Telegram, Wakamola collects data on diet, physical activity, and other health behaviors, turning health assessments into an interactive and user-friendly experience.
