We are proud to announce that our colleague, Vanja Vasiljev, has been awarded the prestigious title of University Research Professor by the University of Rijeka. This honor highlights her exceptional leadership in Work Package 4 of the HORUS project and her dedication to advancing scientific excellence.
This year marks the first time the University of Rijeka has recognized experienced scientists for their role in leading competitive research projects. Among 45 distinguished honorees, Vanja was celebrated for her contributions to projects that are not only challenging to manage but also highly competitive to secure. The university’s rector described the awardees as the research elite, acknowledging their vital role in shaping scientific innovation in Croatia.
