Researchers from the University of Rijeka Faculty of Medicine (MEDRI), partners of the HORUS project, will participate in KARENEMESIS 2026: A Completely Different Congress, taking place from 2-5 July 2026 in Bebrina, Slavonski Brod, Croatia.
The congress, held under the theme «Lifespan – healthy span – happy span», brings together experts interested in healthy ageing, lifestyle medicine, public health and well-being.
As part of the programme, HORUS researchers Vanja and Dalila will contribute to several sessions. Vanja Vasiljev will deliver the lecture «From urban determinants to urban health resources», exploring the relationship between urban environments and health, while also leading a workshop on Mindfulness Compassion Exercise.
The participation of HORUS researchers at KARENEMESIS 2026 highlights the project’s ongoing contribution to discussions around healthy ageing, behaviour change and the role of urban environments in supporting healthier lives.
