Rijeka pilot explores well-being through Movement Medicine workshops

The HORUS pilot in Rijeka continues expanding its community activities with the organisation of two Movement Medicine workshops for intervention participants.

The programme is led by Kaya T. Sertić, a body-oriented therapist and certified Movement Medicine dance teacher from Zagreb, Croatia. Through a combination of movement, dance and psychotherapeutic exercises, the workshops help participants explore ways of releasing stress and anxiety through the body.

The first session took place on 27 April 2026 and brought together 31 participants, who engaged in guided activities designed to promote emotional well-being, self-expression and connection through movement.

A second workshop is taking place on 2 June 2026, continuing the pilot’s efforts to support healthy ageing and well-being through innovative and community-based approaches.
